Today was the official start of Session 7, AKA our last session of the summer. While this is sad, we made sure to start off the session with a bang like we always do. After dinner, the campers had free choice time, meaning they got to choose what they wanted to do for the evening. One of those choices was the Bungee Trampoline!
The Bungee Trampoline is an adventure activity that allows campers of all abilities to bounce on a trampoline. They are harnessed up and attached to bungee cords that raise them to a certain height so they get good momentum when jumping. The campers love this activity, and it was the perfect thing to help kick off Session 7!
Campers love the Bungee Trampoline so much because they get to reach for the stars! The adrenaline rush and feeling of flying are something that cannot be found anywhere else. Once they’re done, they always say they can’t believe how high they got and almost can’t believe it was a real experience.
The people around the trampoline always cheer the rider on and make sure they know how amazing they are doing. No matter how scared a camper gets, the more they jump, the more confidence they gain. By the end of their experience, they want to do it over and over again until they can’t anymore!
With this kind of start to Session 7, we are sure this is going to be the perfect session to end summer on! Watching these campers open up and already love Camp through this experience was so amazing, and it gives us so much excitement to see their happiness throughout the week!
