On Saturday, August 2nd, Camp ASCCA proudly hosted our annual Alabama Elks Day, welcoming Elks from across the state for a day filled with fellowship, generosity, and fun.
The celebration took place in the Bck4T, where guests had the chance to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. The Elks’ motto, “Elks Care, Elks Share,” was clearly felt throughout the day, as lodges came together to support Camp ASCCA in meaningful and generous ways.
Several lodges collaborated to provide a delicious lunch for everyone in attendance, while others enjoyed tours of the Camp ASCCA grounds and facilities. It was a wonderful opportunity for Elks—many of whom have supported the camp for years—to see firsthand the impact of their contributions.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of those in attendance, a total of $18,910 was donated to Camp ASCCA:
- $10,870 was raised for the upcoming 2025 Jingle Jump fundraiser, led by Gary Johnson, Alabama Elks Association State President.
- $8,040 was contributed toward memorials, supplies, and general support.
- Additionally, Elks brought numerous items from our Amazon Wish List, and gave a $50 Amazon gift card!
We were thrilled to welcome representatives from 16 different lodges as well as members from the Anniston Emblem Club, and the AL State Emblem Club on this special day. The event’s success was a direct reflection of the Elks’ generosity, spirit, and heartfelt support.

For many years, the Alabama Elks Association has been a vital supporter of Camp ASCCA. In addition to their ongoing support of camperships and capital projects, they contribute an annual donation of $50,000—a gift that continues to change lives.
We are so grateful to the Alabama Elks for their continued partnership and investment in our campers, our mission, and our future. Thank you for making Alabama Elks Day 2025 one to remember!
