During summer sessions, ASCCA holds a concert series with touring bands to give campers the opportunity to be comfortable in that kind of environment. Last night, we welcomed The Wild Feathers to Camp for this sessions concert, where they put on an amazing performance.
Campers started the evening with slushies, popcorn and great music as they awaited the show. After it started, they immediately felt the rhythm and began dancing along. The Wild Feathers played some of their most popular songs like “The Ceiling” and “Left My Woman.” They explained that this was one of the best concerts they’ve ever played with such an engaged crowd. We love that this is an experience we can offer our campers that they wouldn’t get anywhere else.
The environment was truly unlike any other. Campers were singing loud and dancing proud as if they were hanging onto every last lyric. It is so awesome to see the joy on both the band and campers’ faces as they shared in this unique evening. We are so happy that The Wild Feathers were able to join us at Camp to make Session 3 one of the best!
