ASCCA’s Got Talent: Session 3

Tonight, campers and counselors attended the Session 3, Part 1 ASCCA Talent Show. With lots of support and loud cheers, they went on the stage of the Outpost to perform their special talent.

The night started off with lots of singing performances. Chickasaw cabin welcomed us all by singing a hearty rendition of the National Anthem. Elevating the energy, campers sang songs from “High School Musical,” that left us all with excitement for the evening ahead. As the night continued, we heard many genres that kept us all on the tips of our toes for what was to come.

Towards the end of the show, campers switched it up by doing other performances. One camper played the bucket drums to the song “We Will Rock You.” This engaged the crowd with both claps and stomps that felt like they were going to shake the structure. Next, Commander Agent Noah danced the Irish Jig to a hip hop compilation. This was the perfect performance to end the night. It was a wonderful show stopper. He ended with a loving speech from a precious perspective about the week to come.

After everyone who wanted to perform had finished, campers circled up hand-in-hand to sing the Goodnight Song. It was so sweet and very meaningful, cementing the love that was shown during the Camp Talent Show. What a fun night!
