Camp ASCCA sees many friendships and relationships over the summer. One of those can be seen this week and it is the friendship between Vaughn Rainer and Nate Gorham. They are bestfriends from Vestavia Hills, Alabama and decided to attend Camp together this year! Vaughn is 17 years old and this is his first year coming to ASCCA whereas Nate is 15 and this is his second year! The two have been bestfriends for many years now and have been inseparable ever since they met!
Vaughn and Nate love to go tubing together while at Camp. The two pretty much do everything together and are constantly having fun and laughing. There is never a dull moment with these two energetic and loving boys! Vaughn says his favorite thing to do while at ASCCA is go down the waterslide and Nate’s is swimming in the pool! Even though these are their favorite thing, they bring their full heart and personality to every activity they partake in.
At home, the two like to spend time together by bowling and hanging out! No matter where the two are, they always make sure they are together and having the time of their life. The both of them have contagious smiles and no matter how someone is feeling, they will leave an interaction with Vaughn and Will feeling happy. It is obvious the two boys have a lot of love for each other which you can see from the moment they enter a room.
Vaughn says his favorite things about Nate is being able to enjoy meals with him and his humor. Nate says his favorite things about Vaughn is how awesome he is and how much he cares for him. The two share a deep and meaningful connection which is something so special. We are so lucky to have the pair at ASCCA and be given the opportunity to get to know them!
