Celebrating the Reopening of Our Dining Hall!

This summer, Camp ASCCA experienced a lightning strike that caused fire and water damage to our beloved Dining Hall. To many, it’s just a place to eat, but to us, it has always been so much more. It’s where campers and staff come together to share stories, laughter, and life-changing memories. In an instant, a space that has been at the heart of Camp for decades was suddenly and unexpectedly damaged.

Since that moment, we have been blown away by the incredible support, generosity, and love from our Camp ASCCA community. Our staff worked tirelessly, repairing, replacing, and restoring the Dining Hall so that it could once again be the vibrant, welcoming heart of Camp life that it has always been.

During our ASCCA Christmas Weekend, we finally had the chance to share our first meal in the Dining Hall since the fire. Walking back into that space, feeling the energy, hearing the conversations, and seeing so many smiling faces, was a moment we will never forget. We are so thrilled to be back in the heart of Camp, creating new memories while honoring the traditions that have made this place so special.

There truly are not enough words to express our gratitude to everyone who supported us during this uncertain time. Your generosity has made it possible for us to continue providing a space where connection, joy, and community thrive. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
