Today was our first full day of Session 5 and we are already having the best time! The campers are already making lifelong memories and bonds that are so special! All day the campers have been smiling from ear to ear and experiencing Camp with all of their heart!
We started the day with our first flag raising of Session 5 and breakfast! After breakfast the campers and staff broke our into their groups to go to their program rotations of the day. From after breakfast to before lunch, the campers got to experience so many different things making it a great start to the day!
After lunch, the campers went to rest period and got some much needed sleep before going to snack. For snack, the campers had Scooby Snacks and orange Gatorade before breaking out into their first free choice activities of the day. Every activity was active with campers and the sound of their laughter.
After free choice was done, the campers went to dinner before continuing free choice for the evening! After dinner, the campers were able to choose from different free choice activities than offered earlier in the day. Once again, the campers had such an amazing time at these activities and were all smiles throughout them!
After evening free choice activities were done, the campers and staff gathered in the gym to sing the Goodnight Song after the first full day at Camp! This was the most amazing way to end such a great day here at Camp ASCCA! We are so excited for the rest of the week and cannot wait to make more memories with these campers!
