Session 6 is Young Adults Week, and we could not be happier that this week is finally here! A lot of our campers this week were previously campers during Teen Week, which is why this week is a little bit different from all the other adult weeks! We try to give them a similar experience to Teen Week with the morale around Camp and the events we have!
The event that is most different during this week, rather than the others, is the dance. Since we have Prom during Teen Week, during Young Adults Week we have a more formal dance than usual. Instead of a themed dance, the campers and staff dress a little fancier than they usually would for the dance!
Young Adults Week is also fun because these campers have such big personalities! Most of these campers have been coming to ASCCA for years, so they are well known around Camp. All of these campers have such a big heart when it comes to being here, and it is definitely seen throughout the week. As they continue to come and make memories, they are more engraved in Camp ASCCA’s legacy.
Even though we are only one full day into Session 6, we know this will be one of the best weeks of the summer! We have so many amazing campers this week, which causes us to make the best memories possible. Young Adults Week is always one of the staff’s favorite weeks, and we can see why every day!
