Summer 2025 is right around the corner, and before the fun officially begins, we’re excited to introduce you to our amazing program staff! This team is confident, knowledgeable, and ready to give our campers the best summer experience possible.
Join us in giving a big Camp ASCCA welcome to Ashlyn, the newest member of our adventure program staff!
Ashlyn is from Mobile, Alabama, and is thrilled to be spending her first summer at ASCCA. She’s currently a senior at the University of South Alabama, where she’s studying recreational therapy. After graduation, Ashlyn hopes to pursue a career in adaptive outdoor recreation.
She first heard about Camp ASCCA through friends who had spent past summers here—and when it came time to choose a summer job, it felt like an easy decision!
Ashlyn is eager to dive into this new adventure, embrace the challenges ahead, and gain hands-on experience that directly connects to her future career. She’s especially excited about the learning opportunities that come with being part of the program staff.
Fun fact: Ashlyn takes dance breaks while she studies!
