Today was the first day of Session 1 and our campers and staff has a blast tonight! The campers checked in and took a ton of pictures tonight before they had some more fun! After dinner the campers had the choice to either play basketball or play board games.
In the Dining Hall, there were multiple board games, card games, and bingo set up for the campers to play! At one table a group of campers played Uno with giant Uno cards and another group played Connect 4 right beside them. The majority of our campers and staff chose to play bingo. When a camper won they had many prize option to chose from. Some of them included slinkies, fidget toys, bubbles, and costume pieces! The campers loved this activity and had a successful few round of bingo!
The other activity was basketball in our gym. The campers and counselors ran around the gym and played basketball, the campers learning how to shoot and dribble the ball. They also had the opportunity to play in our Wii room and watch TV as they pleased. The campers thoroughly enjoyed having these options to choose from and it helped them have an amazing first night at camp!
Night 1 was so fun and enjoyable for all the campers and staff! We are so excited for the rest of the week and cannot wait to give our campers the best summer ever!
