A typical day for an ASCCA camper is filled with so many activities and interactions! It is never a dull day here at Camp and we are ready to show you!
In the morning the campers get up and get ready for the day. Once they’re ready, their counselors take them to the Dining Hall to participate in the tradition of flag raising. This is something that happens every morning here at ASCCA! Once the flag has been raised, the staff and campers get to eat breakfast with one another!
After breakfast, it is time for the first rotation of activities for the day! Each group is assigned to a certain activity and these activities are ziplining, archery, arts and crafts, tubing, the Demo Farm, or the pool. The campers get to spend an hour and fifteen minutes at their designated rotation each time! After they are done with the first rotation, they get to do one more before lunch! These activities are something the campers love and look forward to when they come to ASCCA.
Once the campers and staff have eaten lunch, it is time for them to rest before the rest of their day. They get to rest an hour and thirty minutes before they have a snack at the gym. Once they are done with their snack, it is time for free choice and sign up activities! Each day there are different activities to choose from and we offer so many! The campers get to either sign up or choose what they would like to do for the next hour and forty-five minutes of the day!
After all the afternoon activities wrap up, it is time for dinner! The campers and staff have dinner in the Dining Hall for an hour before evening programming. Some cabins get to participate in a pool party and the remaining cabins get to watch a talent show! Both of these activities are something campers look forward to in every session and they are so fun for them!
Once evening programming is done, it is time for the campers to head to bed. Once they get back to their cabins with their counselors, they shower and go to bed after a long, fun, and eventful day!
