Congratulations Kayana, Recipient of the 2025 Judy Williams Scholarship!

At the close of every summer, one staff member is honored with the Judy Williams Scholarship Award, a recognition chosen by our leadership team. Accompanied by a $500 scholarship, this award is presented to someone who embodies an extraordinary work ethic, enthusiasm, infectious energy, and a consistently positive attitude.

Judy Williams—a devoted donor, volunteer, friend, and former staff member—has been part of Camp ASCCA’s story since its founding in 1976. In 2014, this scholarship was established in her name to honor staff members who reflect the same dedication and heart she has shown for decades.

We are deeply proud to share that this year’s recipient is Kayana Luke. Now in her second summer at Camp ASCCA, Kayana has earned the admiration of staff and campers alike through her quiet strength, compassion, patience, and steady commitment to our camper’s well-being.

As a program staff member, Kayana has given her all to this role—not just showing up, but truly investing in every moment. It’s people like Kayana who make Camp ASCCA the special place it is. Her presence has made a lasting difference, and her impact will ripple far beyond our gates.

Kayana joins an incredible group of past Judy Williams Scholarship recipients: Gordon Warner, Brett Gray, Christian Thomason, Matt Smith, Lance Chayka, Zach Rickman, Bryce Perrien, Elizabeth Bryson, Emily Lamberson, and Jackson Blount.

Please join us in congratulating Kayana on this well-earned recognition. We can’t wait to see where her path leads next—because we know wherever she goes, she’ll continue to make the world a better place!
